Sandra became a heart mom when her youngest son was born with a heart defect (Tetralogy of Fallot).
Sandra has been a member of the Children’s Heart Society since 2012 and her family has enjoyed many CHS events, especially the May Long Weekend Campout. She has felt very fortunate that her family can participate in these activities.
By joining the Board in 2020, she wanted to help out, so heart families can continue to enjoy these types of events, chat with others and hopefully not feel so alone. In 2021, she took on the role of Secretary.
